Hey there, you with the mopes goin'! I can tell you I am a survivor of the PITS, many of them! Had to make my own damn rope to get out. It was made of love. Had to love myself first and foremost, believe in myself, and totally accept my imperfections/limitations. There is always room for improvement and regular "assessments" may be necessary. I try to always come from love and peace. If others don't get that, I don't really feel responsible. You will never ever please everybody all the time and my "job" as people pleaser is long gone, thank God. It's pretty futile.

Yes the seasons are changing and in some weird way I am celebrating the hunker-down insideness of it - I usually do quite a bit more writing during the winter months - and I have had a summer with filling up a notebook with ideas. Time to get at it!

Don't give up ranting altogether - haha - it's like doing sound checks for a band! Glad you have awareness of what makes you nuts. I do too. I still get nuts! It's ok. I figure at my age at least I know I'm still alive if I have something to scream about!

Give yourself a break...peace is something sought after, but rarely does it stay static. If you had it all the time you wouldn't appreciate it like you did in that last post. When you return to a peaceful spot, your posts will reflect that. For right now, finding this outlet when you feel like shit is a good thing.

Thanks for that lesson! I've been sporting that symbol since the 1960's and have been delighted at its current resurgence frankly. It's not just for the flower children anymore - either that or I am hopelessly one of them still!

Sounds like you are doing the only thing you can do under the circumstances - head down, do the damn work etc. - maybe just consider this time in whacked neverland the dues one pays for the exciting project that is next on your list? You are learning all the while, even if it is to learn what NOT to do. That saying "What you resist, persists" comes to mind. Evil is hard to deal with but calls for drastic measures - get in your protective bubble, breathe, smile and be in your own little "world" happy and content in your mind. If they can't torture you, it will drive them crazy. And I love that! :) Maybe I'm evil too?
